This lovely couple is getting married on Saturday! I couldn’t be more excited to head down to Chicago this weekend to see my family and watch these two tie the knot! I’m sure there are many fun times ahead.
It’s been quite some time since I did this ‘Beloved Session’ with my cousin Andrew & (soon-to-be cousin) Rozie but I can’t think of a better time to share more of their photos than a couple days before their wedding day! I can’t wait to see you two!!!
Lots of love from the littlest cousin 😉
Quinn and Rachelle became Mr. & Mrs. on October 4 and had a bridal party full of smiles and laughter – and a very large wedding party at that! My dad and I had a blast hanging out with this group during their formal photos.
I started the day out with Rachelle and all of her beautiful ladies at Divine Hair Salon to get ready for the ceremony at the Catholic Church.
Then we ventured over to my newest favorite location in town for family and bridal party photos. All of the photos went smoothly and quite quickly so the bridal party even had a chance to enjoy a quick stop at the Taphouse before heading over to the reception!
I think this photo here is my favourite from the day. Such a wonderful couple!
Thank-you for having me be part of your day Mr. & Mrs McBride!!
Caine and Ashton said their vows on a beautiful Saturday evening in September. The full week before their wedding we not only saw an abundant amount of rain – but also an unheard of amount of snow for September. Even the day before the wedding things were still soaking wet and we zipped through their rehearsal in the rain. Luckily everything dried up quickly overnight and it was a perfect day for a wedding.
I met up with Ashton and her girls for getting ready photos Saturday morning and then we all got together before the ceremony for lunch and bridal party photos.
Ashton & Caine had a first look moment together before we started into the formal photos. I love this idea for couples who chose to have evening ceremonies!
Thank you for hanging out with me on your extra special day!
Taylor and Ryan got married on on of those August Saturday’s that you really don’t know if its going to be sunny or if it’s going to pour. People say it’s good luck for there to be some rain on your wedding day – so this couple must be lucky! It did rain – but it seemed to only rain when everyone was already indoors. It rained while the girls got ready, it rained during the ceremony and it even rained a bit while I was driving home. The only times it wasn’t raining was when we were outside taking photos!
Thank you Taylor and Ryan for having me take part in your beautiful day. It’s been such a pleasure working with you!
& thank you Tabatha Gach for being my second shooter for the day!
I am so excited to share the photos from this adorable family session! Little Miss N completely stole the show. She has the sweetest little grin and cutest little cheeks!
AND! Miss N is probably the sweetest little cowardly lion that you can imagine!
The 2014 McMini Halloween Sessions were a HUGE success! There were over 30 mini sessions of some of the most adorable costumes I’ve ever seen!
Over $1,500 was raised for the Ronald McDonald House Central Alberta! I am already looking forward to running the McMini’s again next year so feel free to mark your calendars now!
A few months back when I received an e-mail from Jordan asking about my availability for his wedding date… I was over the top excited for him and his beautiful girl Lindsay! Three years ago I had the pleasure of capturing Jordan’s brother’s wedding as one of the first weddings I shot after graduating from the Design & Photography program at Grant MacEwan. At that time I wasn’t 100% sure if wedding photography was where I was going to direct my passion – but after that wedding I knew wedding portraiture was calling my name.
Fast forward three years and a few dozen weddings in between, it was a pretty exciting to work with this family again.
And did I mention that Lindsay is GORGEOUS?!
As we drove from the ceremony location to our formals location near Drumheller we made a couple quick stops at cute places we saw along the way. This adorable little church couldn’t have been a more perfect match with their colour scheme.
Once we arrived at the lookout point… it was magic. This day was the definition of perfect in my books.
Thank you Lindsay and Jordan for having me!
I met up with the Elder family on a very busy Sunday of family sessions. I started out the day with this crew and there were so many giggles and laughes that I knew I was going to have a fun filled day of photos.
And we got to sneak in a couple maternity photos for Ashley and Shawn!
It has been a very busy fall with lots of great families having me join them for sessions. The K family and I got together a few weeks ago to update their portraits – and the little ones totally hammed it up for the camera. These two girls were not shy for a single moment.
Like I said… They hammed it up! 😉
