September 22, 2018 – Totally not a day that Melissa and Steve expected to wake up to fall coloured leaves covered with that cold white stuff we relate to winter… But they did and it was PERFECT. The colours were beautiful and so incredibly unique! It was certainly chilly – but Melissa and Steve’s wedding party was a group of troopers.
Congratulations!! 
I am so excited and so proud of my friend Caitlin for her Augustana University graduation! You rock girl!
I also can’t believe how much little Devon has grown up! She is such a sweet heart and so smart like her momma.
Cece and Brandon won a session from the Sparkle and Spurs Bridal show earlier this year! It worked out perfectly as a combined maternity and engagement session!

When Tennille and I met up for our first consult meeting I remember us chatting about how much we both hoped everything would be beautiful and green in time for the wedding. It was a winter meeting and all I could imagine was snow! As the months passed and May finally arrived, one day I looked outside and thought ‘What was I thinking! It’s going to be perfect!’
And it was! Everything about Tennille and Shawn’s wedding was beautiful and absolutely perfect. Not too hot, not too cold, not too sunny, not too rainy – and the best part of all – the day was filled with so much love.

The wedding of Heidi and Greg took me back to my hometown of Bashaw, AB! Being part of Heidi’s wedding day was beyond exciting for me as Heidi happens to be amoung the first people I met when I was born! We spent hours upon hours of our toddler life hanging out together and the opportunity to photograph such a magical day in Heidi’s life was spectacular.
The details of their day were fantastic and so well put together – including Heidi’s dress – which she made herself using her mom’s wedding dress! Can you say talented?! And then their was their amazing bridal party! They were a blast to hang out with (they made me feel like part of the family) and an absolute riot on the dance floor! ❤
This was my last wedding of the 2015 season and as I post this blog I am grinning from ear to ear thinking about what an amazing year of beautiful couples and great opportunities I was given. Thank you so much to each an every couple who had me capture these special moments for you.

On September 18th I photographed the love between Mark and Kjirsti at Hastings Lake Bible came – and it was spectacular. Kjirsti had thought out every detail to match her Downton Abbey theme perfectly. From her vintage dress, the men in perfectly tailored suits, lanterns in the place of bouquets for the ladies, and even guests dressed in the vintage theme – the day flowed perfectly.
It was such a pleasure to be part of this wonderfully thought out wedding day.

I met Chantelle and Kyle through my friend Courtney who I went to University with! I’ve photographed many weddings with Courtney by my side so I was quite excited to have the opportunity to hang out with her and meet her super awesome friends! Chantelle and Kyle have been together for over 11 years and they tied they knot this August at The Glenmore Inn & Convention Center in Calgary! These two were both so kind and welcoming and I hope I can visit them again soon!
Chelsey and Jeff got married on a weekend that was filled with sun, clouds, and some rain. We were lucky enough that the rain stayed away until after the outdoor ceremony and still have some time for family and bridal party photos. We were also quite lucky to have some amazing hospitality for a photo session at the 1979 Taphouse and Grill.

This was the last family session of the season and it was such a great session. The fall leaves were still perfect and the family was so much fun to work with! I think this fall was the most beautiful fall I have seen as a photographer and I really wish it could have lasted a whole lot longer!
