I’ve known little Owen’s daddy for many years through sports photography and I am so excited to now be photographing this sweet little one. If he’s anything like his dad, he is going to LOVE sports!
I can hardly believe that an entire year has flown by since I met little miss Kaycee when she was just 4 day old! As her mom and I set-up for her cake-smash session we reminisced about how it really just seemed like a couple of weeks ago I had been at their home setting up for her newborn session. I absolutely love when I get to work with families as they grow. It’s so special watching these little ones grow into such adorable little people!
HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY KAYCEE! ❤
The 2014 McMini Halloween Sessions were a HUGE success! There were over 30 mini sessions of some of the most adorable costumes I’ve ever seen!
Over $1,500 was raised for the Ronald McDonald House Central Alberta! I am already looking forward to running the McMini’s again next year so feel free to mark your calendars now!
This sweet little Harry Potter fan was such a delight to have in the studio! He was such a trooper and slept for almost the entire session.
This whole session lasted no more than 20 minutes – and it was 20 minutes of full laughter from everyone who was watching. It was quite the event with lots of spectators. A special thanks to the guys at the fire hall for your help with the cleanup. You guys all rock!
And another special thanks to my dad for taking some of the photos as well as these ‘behind the scenes’ shots.
Happy birthday Minions! I love you as much as you kids love cake (well… probably more than that actually…)

Sweet baby Drage came over to spend some time with me in the studio just a few days after he was born! It took him a little while to warm up to the idea of being the center of attention – but part way through the session he decided to lay back and enjoy the snuggles.
Too much cuteness!
I just love these trucks that Daddy brought along for the session – and Drage loved them even more!
I think this was Mr. D’s favorite part of the session. As soon as we had him snuggled into this knitted pouch he fell right to sleep and was out for the rest of the session.
Miss Bailey and I started out her photo session in the studio for a couple quick photos before we headed outside. We had a gorgeous day with blue skies and fluffy clouds.
Then after Bailey’s individual photos we met up with her brother and sister to end off the session with some sibling fun.
Wishing you an early congratulations on your graduation Miss Bailey!
Miss Kate wasn’t kidding when she told me her dress was very sparkly! I am literally still finding glitter in the studio, on my porch, and even my car! I think her beautiful dress is actually following me everywhere I go. 😉
Kate mentioned to me during her session that their grad class has a bit of a rustic/vintage theme this year. This particular location seemed to fit that theme quit nicely. Hopefully I didn’t make her too nervous as I climbed around like a monkey to capture these bird’s eye view shots.
Thanks again for hanging out Kate. Keep smiling that beautiful smile! I’m excited to see you at your graduation ceremony next weekend. Congratulations!
These two honestly get more adorable every single day and it’s getting more and more difficult to narrow down the photos from their sessions!
Their 10 month session was done in two stages. Ryder was up first while his brother was having a nap!
Check out this lil’ man’s smile! It melts my heart. You can’t see it here – but he’s got his first tooth hiding in there!
Both of the boys are loving their new talent of standing – and Jackson especially loves sitting…
Lil’ J tells the most hilarious jokes. He even finds his own jokes pretty funny.
And this is officially my longest post ever… these kids need to stop being so darn cute. (I’m kidding of course!) They do need to stop growing up so quickly though! I have this funny feeling that there won’t be many more posts before they are running around in these sessions. Which means these sessions might suddenly become a little bit harder with them running around.
The face Ryder is making in the second row of this series is one of his favorites.
Also… Sorry Jackson, but this face?!!? LOL!
This handom man was a blast to have in the studio. His smile and amazing personality shone through. He had so much fun he didn’t even want to leave afterwards. It melted my heart when he gave me a huge hug goodbye.
