I absolutely love it when these girls call me for photos – they are so beautiful inside and out! This session was a special surprise for their dad’s birthday and it worked out quite perfectly.

Ryder & Jackson – THREE Years!

I can hardly believe how quickly the past three years have gone! Three years ago we welcomed Jackson and Ryder into the world – and I moved back to Wainwright! And now we are wishing these little men a very happy third birthday – and I am moving into my first house! Needless to say I have been furiously packing up boxes all day, however I felt a short break to blog the boys’ weekend long, stampede themed, birthday session was necessary! They had an absolute blast at the midway, the chucks and the parade!

Mitchell – Wainwright Graduation Photography

Mitchell graduated from the High School this June and we celebrated with an early family session around town. I don’t believe Mitchell was too pleased with me when I told the fam-jam to give him a big bear hug – but he put up with it none-the-less 😉

Emma and I share a very strong obsession with reality T.V. – and for that I think she’s an incredibly rad chick. Upon meeting we chatted about our love for Survivor (Starts again on Wednesday girl!) and I knew instantly that she’s in my good books!

As usual my session with the Nanias family for Kolt’s session was a favourite – and how could it not be with snuggles from this munchkin. It’s crazy to think how much this lil’ guy has grown since this session! ❤

I also can’t believe how much little Devon has grown up! She is such a sweet heart and so smart like her momma.

When Shawn met Tennille – Wainwright Wedding Photography

When Tennille and I met up for our first consult meeting I remember us chatting about how much we both hoped everything would be beautiful and green in time for the wedding. It was a winter meeting and all I could imagine was snow! As the months passed and May finally arrived, one day I looked outside and thought ‘What was I thinking! It’s going to be perfect!’

And it was! Everything about Tennille and Shawn’s wedding was beautiful and absolutely perfect. Not too hot, not too cold, not too sunny, not too rainy – and the best part of all – the day was filled with so much love.

It was an absolute wonderful and amazing day photographing the Nanias maternity session less than two weeks ago – and I am even more excited to meet Kolt later this week for his newborn photos!

Yes. They took me to see my all time favourite animal. Turns out I’m actually kind of afraid of them – but hey, Llama’s are rad.
